After talking to the specialist about red hair care, it's time to find out everything we need to know about blond hair care.
Why does blond hair need special attention?
Liza Pintileasa, my favorite hairstylist on whose hands I leave my hair with confidence every time and who has 16 years of experience in this field, explains what happens to the hair fiber in the dyeing process: “Due to the fact that blonde dye has a high ammonia content and is used only in combination with the strongest oxidant (12%) to open the hair cuticle, the hair dehydrates and becomes porous, so hydration is essential. .
Tips for blond hair care
- Always use moisturizers that protect the hair fiber. Starting with the shampoo that should not have a high concentration of detergent, but a combination of nutrients, and ending with the conditioner or mask.
- Before applying the conditioner or hair mask, Liza recommends that the hair be rinsed well and tightly wrapped in a paper towel to absorb excess water. “Water causes the moisturizer, whether it is a conditioner, mask or treatment, to slide on the hair without acting on it. It is best to remove excess water before application to ensure that the hair will benefit from all the nutrients in the products we apply. ” Liza advises us.
- After rinsing (which is recommended with lukewarm water, not very hot) Liza recommends applying a thermal protection product and a serum or leave-in conditioner on the tips.
- As advised by the specialist, blond hair should be dyed once every 3-4 weeks without exceeding this interval because if the root grows too much there is a risk of not bleaching as well. In this case, it is no longer necessary to apply the dye along the entire length of the hair and avoid unnecessary additional dehydration.

He confirmed some things to me and that makes me happy. I don't really stick to the dyeing phase at 3-4 weeks, I usually get to about 5 weeks. I really didn't know about the Nashi range, thanks for the info!
Yeah, just like I knew. I can't give up blonde even though my hair is no longer than my shoulders. Chop as much as I can trim the tips. I think I used all the natural or not natural products I read about, argan oil, extra virgin olive oil, Vichy ampoules, protective serum, masks, honey, lemon, sage. I paint it at 3 weeks maximum 4 although it doesn't grow more than 1 cm, but, as I am a satin, it can be noticed. I would like to try some professional products, who knows where the miracle will be !! it's the secret.
You can start with a professional hair serum oil. I started using CHI Silk Infusion after bleaching my hair 3 times in 24 hours. I'm sure my hair was much more damaged than yours. This is the product that I do not part with in any way. You can find him http://www.luxbeauty.ro (if you use the code BFF01 you have 15% discount) or in Liza's salon.
Very useful tips and I think many are valid not only for blonde hair. I, for one, use the blackest 😀 and I understood that it is the dye that damages the hair the most. I would like to use some professional hair care products.
Hello. I need some advice from you. I am painted with londa in base 12.1 and I want to change my color in base 10.1. I have high roots and I'm not sure how to proceed: I apply the 10.1+ oxidant 9% dye on the roots (it fades hard) and after 30 minutes I apply a 9.1 or 10.1 + 3% or 6% oxidant on the rest of the hair for 15 minutes to bring it the same color as the roots? Thank you in advance for your answer.
Carmen, this operation is beyond my knowledge. It would be best to ask a colorist who sees your hair, because it matters its texture and porosity that certainly differs from its root in length.
A step-by-step way to use the Nashi Argan range ... especially conditioner, mask and oil, please !!
I will ask for information 🙂
