I invite you to read the articles about how I prepared for surgery and cum was the experience in the hospital.
It was Friday morning (April 19, 2019) and I was waiting for my parents to come and take me home. I negotiated to go to them on the weekends to stay with them so that it would be easier for them to take care of me, but also to do their chores around the house.
Mr Dr. Oltjon Cobani he had already come to see me twice by 9:00 a.m. when he headed to the operating room for another operation.
When I left the hospital I had two drains coming out of both ends of the operation. My mother or nurse (I don't remember exactly) helped me put on my pants, socks and sneakers, and for the rest I dressed myself. I was already getting out of bed on my own and I felt pretty independent. Because I was wearing light sweatpants purses (as I caressed the drains) by the lace at the waist so that I had both hands free. I had to wear that white belt all the time, even when I was sleeping. Upon departure, I paid 300 lei for the belt at the reception of the Monza hospital (formerly Proestetica).
In the car I sat in the front seat with the seat left far behind. The potholes on the road felt quite unpleasant even though my father was walking very slowly and carefully.
I spent more time in bed at home for the first few days. I would just get up to go to the bathroom or take short walks to the kitchen. It's good to go, but not very much.
I was getting tired very quickly. After 10 steps I felt the need to sit down and rest. The doctor's recommendation was not only to stay in bed, but also to take very long walks.
Saturday morning I went to the hospital with my mother to get dressed. The operation had to be cleaned every few days, and the navel had to be bandaged and cleaned every day for the first time due to the complication of the umbilicus, which I believe was due to the small umbilical hernia.
After I went to the hospital, I stopped by my house and took Gâlmiță to the yard (I was able to carry him in my arms), and then I went to the hairdresser to wash my hair. Because I was not allowed to take a shower yet (about 7-10 days after the operation you are not allowed to wet the incision because the tap water is not sterile) I was washing my hair at the hairdresser's where I was much more comfortable sitting at dig.
The diet was light: no raw fruits and vegetables, lots of soups and boiled or baked meat. I didn't have too many bans.
In the first days the appetite was not so great, but it came back to me along the way. It was probably the fear of not gaining weight now that I can't do sports for a month and a half or even two.
Monday morning my parents brought me home. I had few emotions that I was going to be alone, but I had everything I needed, and in the evening they would come by me after they left work.
Well, I didn't stay alone for long because around noon Cristina, my best friend who is like a sister, came to me from London to take care of me! I know I was in bed in the bedroom and I could hear the bell, but I didn't want to get up. Because he kept insisting, I got out of bed and when I opened the door I was speechless. It was one of the most beautiful surprises of my life !!! I couldn't believe he was there, I just thought he was dreaming.
Tuesday I went to the hospital again for dressing. I called myself a Bolt and did very well on my own. Cristina helped me put on my shoes because it was hard for me to bend, but honestly I was more afraid.
The operation looked very good so he took out my first drain. I was very happy to get rid of a purse because it was very uncomfortable for me to sleep on my back.
For a few days I was not allowed to sleep on one side, but I admit that during the night I got a little tired because I was numb. In the first days after the operation I rested well only in the hospital where the bed was very comfortable and I could set it as I was comfortable. At home I rested harder until I got rid of both drains.
Also on Tuesday, after I returned from the hospital, I stopped at the salon to wash my hair. Being operated on, I was still very careful not to walk with my hair unwashed and uncapped. That's just me. After I finished at the hairdresser's I decided to walk to Cristina's house, which means almost the whole Sibiu de la Favorit street to the intersection with Bd. 1 Mai. The distance is not long and you normally cover it in about 5 minutes of leisurely walking, but it took me about 20 minutes. I stopped about 3 times and sat down to rest and because I still didn't show up, Cristina had already come down and was coming after me. That was a long way to go for that moment of my recovery, and Dr. Oltjon Cobani told me not to force myself.

Basically, in the first week after the operation, I went hunchbacked because I still couldn't stand up and I got tired pretty quickly. It was a totally new feeling for me and it was hard for me to assimilate this fatigue, but during this period all you have to do is rest. That is, to stay in bed (not necessarily lying down like a patient) and to carry out activities that do not involve too much movement. After about 7-9 days I got the courage to cough normally. The feeling was discomfort, not pain, but I was afraid something might happen. There was no risk, but I was still afraid.
On April 17 I had surgery, and on April 25 I had no drain as you can see in the pictures.

On days 6-7-8 I was the most swollen, and on the 7th I woke up to try on clothes. I was instantly depressed when I saw that my clothes were no longer loose and I admit that I panicked a little, thinking that I had gained weight. The next day at the consultation, Dr. Cobani explained to me that you do not swell immediately after the intervention the most, but a few days later. The peak period of swelling can vary from person to person. And I went back to my Instagram information source and saw that other people who went through the same operation experienced large swellings during 6-10 days postoperatively. In fact, people who combined tummy tuck with liposuction were swollen even longer. Anyway, you see the final result of such an intervention after 6 months, but from my own experience I can honestly tell you that after 3 weeks you start to feel extraordinary mentally and physically.
On the 11th I changed his navel dressing and when I returned from the hospital I decided to get behind the wheel, although the doctor had recommended that I wait a few more days. I put on my seatbelt, but only the one that came diagonally, and that's how I drove for about a month. I've been driving since day 11 without any problems, but my car is automatic, so it doesn't require much effort.
Dr. Cobani was very attentive and patient during his recovery. I went to bandage my adjusted navel until it started to look good and taught me how to do it myself at home. But he was always available to all his patients (on the one hand I met in the halls of the hospital when I went to the consultation and exchanged impressions until it was our turn). In fact, once he left the city, he asked Dr. Maria Filipescu to take his place and she was the one who pulled my hair out of my navel. I felt absolutely nothing!

The muscles were sewn with absorbable threads so that I could have children without problems In the future, the navel was sewn with normal threads that had to be removed, and the abdominoplasty incision was sewn with resorbable threads, only the ends had normal threads that he removed from me about 2 weeks after the operation. The last threads were removed from the navel and I did not feel any pain.
After a month I was allowed to give up the corset, and after a month and a half I was able to resume the sport. The doctor's recommendation was to listen to my body and not force myself, and that's exactly what I did.

A mistake which I did and I regret a little is that I did not follow the doctor's instructions to start applying scar cream after two weeks. I started giving up after about six weeks, but my luck was that I had a surgeon with golden hands and a body that is recovering beautifully. My scar looks great even though I'm starting to get late with the cream. And I say this compared to other pictures on the hashtag #tummytuckscar on Instagram, but also seeing the scar of a person close to me. They also couldn't believe that my intervention looked better after 2 months than hers, which was done 8 months ago.
The cream that Dr. Cobani recommended to me it is Cimeosil (I bought it from Tei Pharmacy for 180 lei) or Kelo-cote which is not found in Romania, but is found in other European countries. Unfortunately, I didn't find it when I was in the UK, but I'm still looking for it.
After such an intervention you must be careful not to have large weight fluctuations. If I lose a lot of weight, the doctor told me that a new operation can be done that is not as complicated as this one.
My recovery after tummy tuck surgery was not difficult. I had no pain, I had more discomfort in the first days due to the drains and then I felt discomfort in the muscles (like a muscle fever). The skin in the area of the incision did not hurt and so I discovered that it recovers very easily. There were times when the incision area hurt if I pressed, but I generally protected that area.
Before the operation, I was afraid that I would be chopped up and that this year I would not have the courage to show up in a bathing suit. I also thought I would be taken out of business for a long time, but that was not the case. Indeed, in the first days you need someone's help, but then you can do it yourself.
Here is what I look like today, August 21, 2019, four months after the operation.

To conclude this experience 4 months after the intervention, I am very happy with the result. It turned out much better than I imagined, and the whole experience itself was not at all traumatic, but on the contrary I had many beautiful moments (as you can see in vlog). And I feel extremely lucky to have chosen him Dr. Oltjon Cobani and that I had the operation at Monza Hospital where I was extremely well cared for.
For price details you can look on Dr. Cobani's website, but my recommendation would be to go to a consultation because most of the time the bill at home does not match the one at the fair. I also had some slightly different plans, but the doctor's recommendations were different and here it was the best.

Hello Ioana,
Thank you very much for answering my question about the healing cream.
The next day after the blog was published, I was at Tei Pharmacy to buy it. 😉
