I don't feel comfortable doing that, but there are probably several hundred thousand other women in the world. Women of different ages and nationalities, with different social statuses and financial statements. But we all wondered at least once this week "What am I wearing?". And the question becomes more and more irritating as you outnumber size 42. I've been over it for a few years, and as I get further away from it, it's getting harder and harder to find nice clothes to buy. colorful, fashionable and suitable for my age. Clothing size had become a taboo subject. I didn't fit into the S, M and L classics, but I didn't have to say it out loud because I was afraid I wouldn't find my place in society. I was kind of incognito mode. I did not discuss this subject and instead was tolerated. And I don't mean my friends. My friends are cool and open. Open to listen and support you. Unfortunately, this world is not just made up of my friends. Or at least it wasn't long. Because the internet and the blog helped me to discover beautiful people who, although they are many kilometers away, can be very close to you. And so I realized that a group of nice friends formed around my blog who ask me for advice and who in turn help me with advice, who learns from me and from whom I also learn. Women who inspire me and who support me to say out loud things that other young people like me may not have had the courage to do for a long time.
The fashionista.
No, I'm not going to call myself that fashionista because they are not. I've never been and I won't turn into one overnight. I'm just a young woman who wants to dress pretty & chic. I want to dress correctly, beautiful, colorful, according to my context, figure and age. I want to forget about the dark clothes, with bag-type cuts that cover absolutely everything. I'm sure I have good body parts too. And I'm sure you have too. We just have to discover them (figuratively and sometimes, literally).
And I started this collaboration with THAT because I felt openness from the brand. This opening translates into a wide range of pieces and outfits that appeal to the public 42+, modern cuts that emphasize the silhouette and very high quality materials. So I started visiting this store more and more often. Then I came to me. That happened last summer, but I wasn't ready to reveal myself, so only a month ago I had the courage to go to them and tell them "Let's do this project! We do it for me and for women like me. ” I am happy that I made this decision, although I am very excited to show you the first pictures.
How to be a model when in fact you are not a model.
I chose my outfits myself. And the photos are taken by Miruna Minculescu from Photographer TAU Studio. Miruna and I are very good friends from college. Very little is said, but sometimes there are no words to describe the connection between some people. Surely you know what I'm talking about.
I didn't choose to take her pictures because she is uber-talented and knows how to photoshoot pictures like no other, but to feel comfortable. And I did well because after a few unsuccessful shots in which I was rigid and tried to imitate the posture of a model, he told me "Bub, you're not like that. Behave normally and do what you would normally do if you wore that outfit. ”
So below you will find some photos in which I behave naturally, goofy, when editing that did not use liquify. You will see me with a belly, cellulite, thick arms and everything I would normally try to hide. But that's how I am, and until I can change that, I'll enjoy life, the colorful clothes, and the people around me.
Below I show you some of my favorite pieces from the spring-summer 2015 C&A collection. Pieces that I wear often and in which I feel very good.
Enjoy the pictures, go shopping, be happy & follow #MyBodyJourney!

you are wonderful, Ioana! <3
Thanks, handsome man! I have so many emotions: *
Grade 10 for this article!
Thanks, Cris! I admit that it was not easy for me, but also sure that there are other girls like me who do not find it easy to say certain things out loud. I kiss you and thank you for visiting and commenting!
I read often and comment rarely. Laziness characterizes me but, this time, I felt the need to tell you! A wonderful day and I wish you all the best!
I really liked the post, the approach and the photos! You're great, Ioana!
Thanks, Diana! <3 I decided to be more open to my readers. So far I see it's good 😀
Very nice article! See you soon!
It was a difficult start, I promise to get to work! : *
Congratulations! Your attitude does everything! I hope you do such articles more often! Kiss you :-*
I promise to do more 😀
Bravo, Rozica! I really like it!
Hihi… thank you very much! : *
Congratulations for posting. Start and write in English and go worldwide. You are super photogenic and will catch your posts outside much more than in Romania. Spor!
Thanks, Adina for the suggestion! It's a wonderful idea, I'll really consider it 😀
you're beautiful
Thanks, Monica! I kiss you and I'm waiting for you 😀
Excellent project… I hope that articles of this kind will be more and more frequent because you are a very charismatic person, who inspires and who has style! I like the attitude, the posture, the makeup, the hair, the outfits! Honestly, you look the most chic in the skirt / dress; my favorite combination is the striped skirt that you matched very nicely with the espadrilles!
I love that skirt! And now I met Mariana Romanica from Art Of Image and she gave me some suggestions on how to wear it. I am very glad that you like the concept and thank you for your visit and message. Kiss you
Darling, congratulations for your collaboration and for this post. You radiate and the pictures came out great. I like the chosen outfits and I set my eyes on that T-shirt <3 I think I'll run to C&A. I don't know why, but I usually bypass that store.
I kiss you and I can't wait to see you.
And I can't wait to see you and thank you for the message! Don't miss the C&A stores, you will be surprised to see what nice clothes they have! kiss you :*
we don't all have 90-60-90..it is important to feel good in your skin!
you are so cute!
Thank you, Nicoleta! I hug you :*
Hi, I appreciate what you did and that you have the courage to say it. I have been buying clothes from C&A for 2 years, they are really fine and of good quality.
That's right, Alexandra. The clothes from C&A are very beautiful and anyone can find something to their liking. I kiss you and thank you for the message.
The project is very beautiful! I'm waiting for more posts like this: *
Hihihi .. I'm glad you like it 😀
Very nice pictures! <3 Don't be ashamed of yourself, you are beautiful !!! I kiss you dearly !!!
I kiss you too! : *
Suuuuuper pictures and just as beautiful and clothes !! I encourage you to continue this kind of post because in the blogosphere, most of us turn our attention to one part of the audience, and the other side does not find its place, although it could take the advice we present just as well, regardless of the size of the blouse she is wearing. So I am sure that if you continue, you will create your own fashionista audience that will surely follow you with pleasure, just like I do.
PS: Flowery and brilliant dress !!!
Thank you, Catalina! The truth is that you can find inspiration in anything, so why not be an inspiration for my audience. I kiss you and thank you for the message: *
Ioana, you look great and I hope this is just the first of a large number of fashion posts! You go, girl!
I promise to post more outfits although I will maintain the beauty direction of this blog. But I admit that all these beautiful thoughts overwhelm me and give me energy to post other outfits 😀
You look great and the pictures are really gorgeous 🙂 all outfits fit your glove <3 Kisses
Thanks, Irina! I had some emotions before posting the pictures and the article… I kiss you and thank you for visiting and message 😀
I don't know why, but I sensed you would have such a column. Congratulations for the relaxing attitude, let's hope you don't post outfits just now when this collaboration has failed: D.
Kiss!
I am determined to maintain the beauty direction of the blog, but there will also be fashion-related articles from time to time. At least once a week. I kiss you and thank you for visiting and message: *
Bravo! For the courage, for the audacity and for the truth with which you wrote!
For the attitude in the pictures - I really like the pictures, and the outfits fit you really well!
You're a beautiful woman! After all ... who said that to be beautiful you need to weigh 50 kg? It's about attitude - and you, girl, have it!
Kiss you!
Thank youuu! I did not expect to receive so many beautiful messages and so many positive reactions, but I am very happy. Thank you for the message, I kiss you!
I'm glad you took this step, I know it wasn't easy at all. I hope it gives you that something you need to get where you want to go.
Thanks for the message, Camelia! It really isn't easy, but I prefer to be happy in any form 😀
Thanks so much for the post! It's the first time I come to your blog, I saw the post just because another blogger liked the article on Facebook. I will follow you with interest, especially the outfit section, mostly because I'm plus size as well, I needed a blogger to recommend stores where I can find clothes that fit me. You are the only blogger who made a fixed post outfit "tailored to me"
Again, keep up the awesome work!
Oh, thank you Cristina and welcome to my blog! I kiss you and I'm waiting for you! : *
I'm familiar with the feeling you described, but you did very well! That cat amused me, she immediately infiltrated the photos :))
And I couldn't help but take her in my arms. I didn't really like pictures :)))
Congratulations on starting this project. Just last Sunday, I wrote a few lines about the importance of the blog in overcoming the comfort zone and about the fact that if you try certain things, it may suit you much better than you expected.
Many girls do not fit into those beauty patterns, but that does not mean they do not have tons of charm :).
I read your post and it really got me thinking then. I kiss you and thank you for visiting and commenting! : *
You are beautiful, beautiful, both inside and outside! 😉 Miruna and Alex were my high school classmates, they are very talented. Many kisses !
Whoai, how cool! I think you are very proud of their successes 😀 I kiss you and thank you for the beautiful words: *: *: *
I'm not Gica-Contra and although I'm sure many of the readers will jump in my head, I say it's not normal to encourage and promote obesity. I am not a supporter of the anorexic models in magazines and I am not one of them. But I think we're taking things a little too far. There is a difference between feeling good in your skin and waving it under the nose of others. It's just my opinion and I have everything I said, at the risk of being made a pigsty.
No one will make you a pigsty, because my readers are fabulous women with open minds. But I think you totally misunderstood the idea of this article. By no means does it promote obesity, and if you browse my blog you will see that I have told several times about my struggle with weight through diet and sports journal. This article is about loving yourself and being happy even if you don't fit into the patterns of a society. About not giving up on yourself if you are in such a situation. Or do you think that overweight people should simply disappear until they lose weight, and if they fail to lose weight they should be condemned by society and it means that they do not have the right to happiness? Health is an important thing and no matter how strong this argument is, know that people do not choose to gain weight. Everyone has a story and I don't think they should be judged by those around them just based on the cover of the book. Just because I choose to feel good and happy doesn't mean I wave anything under anyone's nose. It means I choose to enjoy life.
You are very beautiful! The striped skirt winks at me too. I can't wait to see more outfits here on the blog. Many kisses!
Thanks, Adela! I promise to post more outfits from time to time 😀
I've been following you for a while, but this is the first time I've left a comment. That's because I feel the need to tell you that you are beautiful, and if you feel good about what you are, that makes you beautiful inside too :), beautiful pictures and attitude!
Dear Iulia, thank you very much for following my blog, it matters a lot to me! I know that time does not allow us to do everything we want, so your simple visit is wonderful. I kiss you and thank you for the message: *
On the make-up side, I always liked your 'girls' and I also like this facet. You are beautiful and bad mouths to look for straws / barns and what else they will have in their eyes.
Congratulations for the collaboration, the clothes are beautiful, maybe I'll go to C&A to see what they have. My favorite is the "Hola Havana" T-shirt, then I saw the skirt and the espadrilles - ready, with that combination you ended perfectly (love that gif)
Congratulations to Miruna, the photos are wonderful; this is also a talent of the photographer, to make the man relax and feel at ease - otherwise… in vain lights, contrasts, frames, etc.
A beautiful evening and a pleasant weekend!
It fits you very well in the striped skirt. And in a flowered dress.
For several years now, I have only been buying clothes from C&A, because usually in the other stores, if I find something I like, I should have exactly a larger size than the last one they offer. In addition, my thighs and buttocks are more prominent than the middle (hourglass) and most of my pants are big at the waist. This does not happen with those from C&A. They are very well cut.
Good luck in the future!
Supeeeeer, congratulations on your initiative and courage!

Great, congratulations on the initiative… I really appreciate what you do!
Many kisses

The more you go, the more you post
What a sad man you are, I'm really sorry for you
If your favorite models are not available in sizes that can make individuals even Americans, you can also opt for: living curtains, tent sheets, theater props. For a silky touch, the parachute material can also be used.
Eugene, know that most of the time the things you say about others and the way you choose to do it say more about yourself than about the people involved.
I know and I'm right. But I assure you that there is no trace of malice in jokes, at least unintentionally, and I'm glad you didn't react offensively to any of them.
That moment when humor is confused with wickedness
That's it
How did you summarize the essence of an article in just 4 words. No teenager in full puberty who is missing his 7 years at home would have succeeded. Congratulations, you made fun of yourself here too!
Just humor, nothing more 🙂
Whoever told you that you have good jokes in the program is not your true friend.
Right. On the other hand, I can't help but notice that the heeled shoes are just for decoration in the photo session above. They probably didn't have the titanium heel model in stock.
I think a visit to an ophthalmologist's office would be helpful.
I will proceed soon.
What a beautiful post! The pictures are beautiful, you and the outfits.
Some time ago I had a striped skirt, just like yours, for which I had become obsessed.
And no, I don't like vertical stripes at all, whatever silhouette you have, with all their optical effect.
You really emanate joy and good mood, I always read you with pleasure and I am envious of your hair.
You can't even imagine how excited I am about your initiative! I've been following outdoor blogs with plus size fashion for a while and to see this in the local landscape seems WOW! I tell you with all my heart not to listen for a second or to be influenced in any way by inappropriate comments. At the end of the day, those "poor in spirit" people will remain and you will be infinitely more won and appreciated! Keep up the good work 'cause you're awesome!

Congratulations from the bottom of my heart for this post !!! It doesn't matter the size we have on our clothes… sometimes it's not up to us to be thin or fat and each of us has a story behind it. It is important to feel good in your skin. You are very beautiful and full of life ... this can be seen, even if I don't know you.
I wish you to stay as full of life and to delight us with such posts 🙂
You are very beautiful, Ioana!
We all know that today the image matters a lot, but the whole soul and attitude remain the most important.
Congratulations for your courage and for as many posts as possible 🙂
Kisses and beautiful days, we support you 🙂
You are a beautiful. The pictures of the outfits are gorgeous. We still want such articles. Even if I have 56kg the outfits of others always inspire me
The pictures are beautiful and your idea itself was good, I understand you somewhat. every woman I want to be a bit of a star as well as a model, but I watched your articles about losing weight trying to see something helpful for young girls who read you, like my daughter. Basically with this article you showed a little that you can be fat and be satisfied that you are like that and a little to deceive yourself. You have to think that so many teenagers read you, my daughter is 16 years old and reads several blogs. they should be helped somewhat to take care of their health and the way they look. from my experience and in my years, a fuller lady has to put heels in pictures and pay attention to skirts, you don't benefit from short moldings like that. Finally, I don't really understand this new fashion. maybe I'm from the older generation, but when I take pictures and now I make sure I have a heel and a dress that will benefit me. Health and I hope you are well.
I don't understand why you follow my blog if you don't agree with what I do. There are so many other blogs and sites that you can enjoy and that you can find something useful from your point of view. Direct your energy and time there and you will definitely be happier.
Let's not lie that "we feel good in our skin"! Cruel delusion! You can't feel comfortable holding your coils, hurting your knees and / or back from being overweight, being horrible going to the beach, or not fitting in a lot of clothing models. No one will convince me that it is a sincere phrase. It is said by a person who was overweight at 90 kg, 10 years old. Break the matza in half and go to a nutritionist known for results, who will ask you to do tests.
I covered 250 km to understand (although I recognized many of the rules on the net, only I did not have the medical explanations and clarification of other question marks) and that the vicious circle must be ended.
I recommend that you better document yourself and see that you are more likely to be shot in the head and survive than to change your constitution (only 2 out of 1000 people who lose weight manage to maintain a weight that is not genetic and to keep it that way - and those with great effort anyway, an obsession with maintenance). In addition, all that solves diets and sports are metabolic imbalances that do more harm than good. You have internet people, document yourself. What you are doing is a horrible discrimination based on a lack of education on the subject.
Congrats, this proves what a strong personality you have, but you are no different from other people, you are also a soul (wonderful, because you love cats). I appreciate and respect you enormously, now much more than I did before maybe. And yes, there will be many negative opinions, but even one positive one is enough to make you smile. We are used to criticizing and it is somewhat painful that I see comments below that you want to promote something else. I think really smart people realize what you're saying here. Don't get tired, don't consume your energy in the direction of criticism. They will be there at 50 and 100, and when you are wearing make-up and when you are not wearing make-up, and when you have a white T-shirt and when you have it black. What I want to say from my little experience is that there are people who overlook these insignificant things and people who criticize you, people who will support you indifferently and others who will judge you (be very careful to make the distinction). Everyone is frustrated by certain things. I met girls who seemed perfect to me, they fit the standards of society, but they told me how much they hate each other and how much they would change. Love yourself in the first place and if at the end of the day, when you look in the mirror, without make-up and with your hair detached, tired after a long day, you feel like smiling, that's all that matters. Love yourself as you are, accept yourself, this is the secret, you will go through certain stages and they all have their charm, you will see what wonderful people are with you, you have nothing to lose if you love yourself. Anyway, for us you are very beautiful, that means being a diva 🙂
Many have said it before me, but I will say it too. The photos are very beautiful, and the outfits fit you very well. You don't have to feel uncomfortable, you're beautiful. I don't understand those who say you encourage obesity. I only see one woman who has some successful outfits. Btw, my favorite is the first one, the one with the dress.
Congratulations for the post! As many as possible.
Ioana, congratulations for the initiative! I also choose the clothes from C&A, they are of quality and I don't have to try 1000 things until I find something that suits me.
I read the comments here and I don't understand a thing ... what should a fuller person do until he loses weight? to put a bag on his head and stay just like that until he looks "worthy" to wear beautiful clothes?
Many do not understand that this is a long process that involves the physical, but more the psyche and therefore we can not transform our body "overnight". And yes, it's not a bad thing to feel good all this time 🙂
I really like your outfits, you look super good, I like the way you pose, you are happy, I honestly don't have the courage to make an article like this, although it strikes me :). I kiss you and you are very good: *.
Hi! I really like your expressiveness! I have been working as a photographer for some time and I would very much like to collaborate: D. Love your style! Keep on rockin '!
