The Konjac plant is native to Japan and has been known for its therapeutic effects since the 16th century. It is now very popular in weight loss diets because glucomannan (the main fiber contained) has an incredible ability to absorb fluids and turn into a gel that fills the stomach and curbs appetite. Moreover, due to its texture, it helps a lot the intestinal transit and does not allow fat deposits to be deposited. Even Dr. Pierre Dukan recognized the effects of prolonging the feeling of satiety.
But the latest fashion is to take care of your body and face skin with the right Konjac sponge. I received it for testing from the Longeviv.ro site, Konjac Sponge with Pink Clay for Skin. I'm telling you honestly and I'm embarrassed by the person who sent it to me, but I haven't touched him in a month and a half since I received it. I was in a period of treatment because my skin was so sensitized by all the products I tried over time that I struggled with some nasty papules for more than four months and to no avail. I had just started a new treatment and my skin was peeling easily in some places, so I didn't feel like experimenting on myself.
First impression
At first glance, the konjac sponge is rough and looks like a combination of a loofah and a pumice stone. With this impression, it's no wonder I didn't want to try it. But one day I took my heart in my teeth and out of respect for the person who sent it to me, I said to test it. Let me figure out exactly what this is about.
Use
First I took it out of the package and noticed that it was not as rigid as I thought. Then I soaked it in lukewarm water and watched it begin to become soft and fine. The sponge I have is for sensitive and slightly irritated skin, which is exactly what my skin was and was like at the time.
It should be kept in water for about 2-3 minutes until it softens, then pressed between the palms to remove excess water and then it can be used.
After cleansing the skin should be rinsed well, press between the palms and not squeezed to prevent damage and allowed to dry. You will see that it has a thread that helps you during cleaning and you can hang it on dry land. I took a Hello Kitty hanger from the Sanrio store in Afi, especially for the konjac sponge, which I caught on the bathroom tile with the supplied suction cup. That's how I always have it on hand.

My impressions
I can honestly tell you that I fell in love with my konjac sponge and that I consider myself a fool to look at it for a month and a half. I have not come across a face cleanser (glove, towel, brush, sponge) that is more delicate and effective than the konjac sponge. All the beautiful words I have heard and read about him are 100% deserved.
It did not cause me any irritation, it helps me to clean my skin very well even when I wear a very heavy make-up, and sometimes I also use it to remove make-up. I just wet my face, put cleanser on it or face cleansing gel and start massaging. In a minute I rinse and my skin no longer has any makeup. Just a shine I'd like to last a lifetime.
I still use it in a way, but I don't know if it's recommended: when I remove face masks, especially those with clay that are harder to wash.
If you are curious to try it I recommend the site www.longeviv.ro because they are serious and because they have a wide range of products. Also enter HERE see the wide palette of konjac sponges and choose the one that suits you.
In addition, they also have very low shipping fees!

You make me want him too. 🙂 Sounds nice and I think if I hadn't read your review I wouldn't be interested.
I was really waiting for someone to write about konjac sponges, I was very curious, good review 😉
Alas, Ioana, I really need something like that! I have to order one too!
Thanks for the review! I've read about him before, but no one has described him so well. I think I'm ordering one too. Too bad they are not found in stores
They are found in pharmacies.
Thanks for the tip!
I am also working on a review for a Konjac sponge with French clay, received for testing from the same site! I was curious if it made such an impression on you and this was confirmed to me!
Very well structured review, I enjoyed reading it!
Kiss you, Ioana!

Lavender Thoughts
I have to try it too, I've had it on my wishlist for a long time. And so I thought it would be good to remove clay masks - which don't just go away with water.
You convinced me, Ioana! ..I definitely have to order one too, good review!
Suuuuper! I've had it on my wish list for a while now! I can't wait to buy it too! 🙂
Many kisses
Ha, you won me over with this sponge! I had sensitive skin anyway, but
in charge is a battlefield, I take it too, thank you for
recommendation!
I didn't try this one, just the Konjac body sponge for sensitive skin, which I really wrote about on the blog yesterday. I liked it so much that I still want to have it and buy one for my skin! It is excellent and with results in less than a month, the only major disadvantage being the high price. 🙂
