Today I want to tell you a few words about a gel cream that I have used in recent weeks and that I really like. Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel for normal or combination skin is a creamy gel with cooling effect, which diminishes the appearance of dilated pores and which ensures a lasting mattification. The formula is not oily and leaves the skin smooth and velvety.
The cream formula is enriched with Hyaluronic acid to restore skin hydration, Katafray extract which provides a protective barrier to prevent dehydration, Sobier bud extract which provides hydration and shine, pomegranate extract for shrinking pores and alpine willow extract that helps reduce sebum.
Clarins recommends that it be warmed between the palms before being applied, and that the application be done by palpation and a light pressing. I prefer not to heat it because I really like the cooling effect and most of the time I am in a hurry and I don't have time.
He has a lot strengths this cream: The gel texture that does not load the skin, is a good makeup base, moisturizes deeply, is absorbed very quickly into the skin and leaves a pleasant velvety, matte appearance and the skin feels firm.
That weaknesses I identified the slightly peppery price (approx. 160 lei), the jar-shaped packaging, and in the middle of the ingredient list is the alcohol. But drawing the line, these reasons are not enough to stop using it.
What do you think about the product? Convinced or not? I am waiting for your opinions!

Too bad it doesn't have SPF… I understand it's a day cream, right?
Yes, a real shame 🙁 There is also the lotion version, a little creamier that has SPF 15
