A few weeks ago I participated in the launch event of the Kardashian Beauty Hair brand in Romania, where I received a travel sample of the new serum / hair oil for testing. Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil. The new range contains four care products (smoothing cream, curly hair cream, dry conditioner and oil), three styling products (dry shampoo, volume foam and hairspray), four brushes and a comb, a hair dryer, a straightening plate and a curler - 3 in 1 plate. And they have announced that they will soon launch some new ranges of care (shampoo + conditioner) that I am very excited about and I want to try.
About Kardashian Beauty
This new hair care brand is a collaboration between the famous Kardashian sisters and Farouk Systems USA, which also produces the CHI and Biosilk brands. As you already know, CHI is my favorite hair care brand, and the oils and serums in its ranges have always made my hair look brighter and more resilient.
For this reason, of all the seven styling and care products launched, Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil is the one I wanted to try the most. In addition, Kim stated on Fox FM's Fifi & Dave show that in the pictorial of Paper Magazine it was given with this oil (which yes, it can be applied without problems on the skin of the body). Cheesy, right?
Formula Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil
The special ingredient Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil is Nigella Sativa oil (the popular name being Negrilica), a plant native to Asia whose therapeutic effects have been known since antiquity, being found in the writings of Hippocrates and Discorides. On the hair, black seed oil has antioxidant and antimicrobial effects that strengthen both the root and the hair fiber. What I find very interesting is the fact that this plant manages to bloom even in extremely dry soils due to its water retaining properties.
In addition to Negrilica oil, this product also contains silk proteins - the main ingredient of CHI serums. You are probably wondering why there is so much fuss about this ingredient and why it is found in so many cult products and I will give you the explanation immediately. Silk contains 17 of the hair's 19 amino acids and helps repair hair from the inside out, has a triangular structure that ensures three-dimensional shine and prevents discoloration, and provides protection against: heat styling, UV rays and climate factors.
This oil is intended for all hair types, especially the dry one, because it offers hydration, shine and resistance because it is rich in Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids.
Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclotetrasiloxane, Caprylyl Methicone, Cyclohexasiloxane, Nigella Sativa (Black) Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Silk, Phenoxyethanol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Fragrance (Perfume), Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Salicylate, Benzylate, Eugene , Linalool, Yellow 11 (CI 47000), Red 17 (CI 26100).
How to use Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil
This oil-treatment can be applied to damp hair immediately after washing in lengths, on all hair and scalp before washing, on dry hair can be applied on the tips for hydration or when styling can smooth the rebellious strands.
Kim Kardashian said in an interview that she applied it to her daughter's hair, North West, when she caught him in the famous ballerina bun.
I received a 15ml travel sample (left) that I have used about seven times so far and I have less product, but the full size product has 89ml and comes in a container with a pump that allows dosing the product as desired .
Impressions Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil
Texture. The first thing I noticed about this serum is the transparent color and the fine and slightly oily texture. It is not the kind of very greasy and sticky oil, but on the contrary it is very light and moisturizing. I also applied it on my hands (because I knew that CHI oils are also recommended in moisturizing the skin of the body) and it was immediately absorbed without leaving any film on the surface.
Smell. Around CHI Silk Infusion oil, a real segregation has been created between those who love the effects of the product, but do not use it due to the slightly masculine smell, and between those who can get over the smell and manage to use it successfully. I am part of a third category that loves the product, but also its smell. Well, in the case of Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil I think the same thing will happen because it has a fairly pronounced oriental scent, slightly spicy, which I don't think will be liked by people who can't stand strong smells or who prefer fresher flavors. .
Effects on hair. I had high expectations from this product from the beginning and I was happy to find out from the first use that it meets them. I am not lying at all when I tell you that this product is on the 2nd place in the top of my favorite hair oils / serums (on the 1st place remains the CHI Silk Infusion that I have been using since 2011). I don't want to get caught up in the Kardashian sisters 'involvement in formulating the product, but Farouk Systems' expertise has certainly left its mark.
Conclusions and recommendations Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil
I like to use Kardashian Beauty Black Seed Dry Oil on wet hair before drying with the hair dryer. I apply a very, very generous amount (about 8 pumps) on the tips and length (from the ear down) and I like to take it off with my fingers before brushing it. Even though I use so much product, it never loaded my hair or made it look greasy. No way!
Constantly used to know that improves the appearance and texture of the hair, or so it is with me. Ever since I dyed my blond hair (I invite you to read the article on how I went from redhead to blonde) my threads are very dry and dull. If I did not apply oil, it would certainly not have too much shine and would become brittle over time.
I also want the full size version of this product because I feel that it really moisturizes my hair, makes it more elastic and shiny, and I even notice how my hair looks better and better over time.

What do you think about this product, would you be tempted to try it? and I'm still curious if the fact that it's a brand of the Kardashian sisters influences your decision in any way.
