I was telling you in early March that L'Oreal is about to launch a new range of L'Oréal Elseve care under the motto Now the hair is repaired from the inside !, a range that, in addition to the usual products, shampoo and conditioner, also contains a double concentrated serum (the first hair serum launched by Elseve). I have tested in the last two weeks only the shampoo and conditioner in the range and only from the fact that I have used them for such a long time it turns out that they are some products that are worth paying attention to.
About the range
Elseve Total Repair Extreme is the first L'Oréal Paris range to contain dry and damaged hair care products based on a new formula based on two innovative ingredients: Ceramides and LAK 1000.
Ceramides have a repairing effect on the complete restoration of the hair fiber, and LAK 1000 is a fruit acid that has the ability to penetrate deep into the 10 layers of the hair helping to eliminate dead cells.
How does it work?
The LAK 1000 asset is known for its extraordinary capillary fiber strengthening properties: from the center of the hair core to the tips.
Action to the core - The LAK asset penetrates the 10 layers that make up the hair to rebuild the degraded bonds of its internal structure.
Action to the top - fills the external cracks of the hair and strengthens the protective cellular network from the root to the tips.
Result: Complete repair. Restored protection. Silky hair to the tips.
Way of ussage
The products are very easy to use just like any other shampoo and conditioner.
About packaging
The packaging is a classic one, specific to the L'Oréal Elseve range. The only differences are the visuals. I like the chromatics of the range: metallic lilac with carmine red. It makes it stand out quickly on the shelf and sends you thinking of a futuristic technology, as is the ingredient LAK 1000. So we can say that they have created the perfect packaging for this product.
Impressions
Of all the L'Oréal Elseve ranges I have tried so far this is by far my favorite.
Shampoo it has a fine, creamy texture that produces a lot of foam quickly. Unlike professional shampoos that do not foam so much from the first application, washing with this product seemed much faster.
Although I do not have damaged hair, but only affected by the effects of constant dyeing and I usually prefer professional ranges for dyed hair, this was the only product mass market for which I made an exception. You know how hard it is red hair is maintained.
Softener it has an ultra-creamy texture that rinses very easily and that due to the fact that it is concentrated in restorative actives, it manages the hair quickly, leaves it very soft and fine and seems slightly fuller.
Generally the purpose of a conditioner is just to handle the hair. I'm glad to see that things are changing and that conditioners are starting to have more and more advanced formulas that don't force you to apply a mask and a mask.
Another thing I immediately noticed in the conditioner is the slightly sour smell of apples. It reminds me of another care product, but I can't remember it. It's very frustrating :))
Later I noticed that both products have the same smell, but only the conditioner remains in the hair.
Conclusions and recommendations
This range is intended for dry and damaged hair, but I am convinced that it can also be used by people with drier hair. I think blondes will be very happy with this range.
I really like white products and I think they are among the few that come close as a result of professional care products.
Have you tried the L'Oréal Elseve Total Repair Extreme range?

Hi Ioana.
The shampoo is also my favorite and I even stocked it up, I didn't try the conditioner but I will buy it at the first opportunity.
An excellent day!
I also really like this range, given that I have oily hair at the root and degraded in length (it's hard to find something to reconcile both problems)! And the Instant Miracle treatment from the same range is super good 🙂
A shampoo that makes a lot of foam is not necessarily a good shampoo, quite the contrary. If the shampoo makes mountains of foam, it may contain too much detergent among the ingredients, which removes the natural protection of the hair, removes the color, so professional shampoos do not foam, or do quite a bit at all…
Thanks for the information Mihaela!
