I have been using this cream every night for more than two months and I think it's time for a review.
I know there are debates about eye cream - whether or not we need it, whether or not it's just a marketing strategy designed just to sell less product in a smaller package at a higher price and so on. I am of the opinion that it is not at all a fabrication of companies considering that the structure of the skin around the eyes is so different from the rest of the face.. First of all, the skin around the eyes is much thinner and more fragile and does not have sebaceous glands.
Have you ever wondered why the first wrinkles appear around the eyes? Does it have anything to do with UVA rays responsible for skin aging that can more easily penetrate the thin layers of skin around the eyes or with that in general we neglect that area when it comes to hydration and sun protection? I say it has to do with both.
Returning to the product I want to talk to you about today, from the beginning I had a positive feeling towards it. I don't know if it happens to you, but sometimes I feel from the beginning if I will like a product or not. If at first I feel like I don't like something, then there's a good chance I won't like that product. And in this case it turned out that I have a very good intuition because I use the product with pleasure and conscientiousness every night.
I only use it the night before bed because it has a slightly creamy texture and it requires a longer time to be absorbed and the night gives it the necessary time and conjuncture.
Although it is presented as a product suitable for mature skin with wrinkles, it is a anti-aging treatment (not anti-wrinkle), rich in antioxidants and vitamins which gives me the care I need. I mention that I still do not face the problem of wrinkles around the eyes, but I have some fine lines that "promise" to grow.
On Beautypedia It is rated with the average grade, and Paula Begoun's comments show that it is not an effective product in combating existing wrinkles and the amount of glycolic acid is too small to exfoliate the skin. The truth is that it is the penultimate ingredient on the list.
However, I like it and consider it a product according to my needs. I like the texture, the smell and the fact that I wake up in the morning with a bright look even if sometimes I can only sleep for 5 hours.
The good news about Mario Bădescu's products is that do not contain preservatives. The bad news is that since they don't contain preservatives, the shelf life is short: 6 months after opening the product.
I have used almost a quarter of the amount of the product in two months, so I will not be able to use the cream completely until it expires, but even so. it seems to me a spurious product since the last eye cream lasted me almost 2 months using it in the morning and in the evening.
I really like this cream and I don't miss it on the go. I received it for testing from Carespot.ro and now, after I tested it, I would pay the price of 112.50 lei to have it.

Oh, but this product contains a preservative called sodium benzoate
the list of ingredients is "cabbage" and I hope it does not appear on the label. Vegetable oil does not exist in INCI format, there must be another oil there, Sonojell is the trade name for petrolatum.
I personally think that if a face cream is formulated with the same care as an eye contour cream, there is no need for two products :).
Hi. Thanks for waiting for a review from this range and a neighbor uses it for dry skin and is happy ms pop a good day
of course we need eye cream, the skin around the eyes is very sensitive!
an article to read, can answer certain questions. Paula Begoun was years of zilethe cosmetics cop, until she started her product line. It is true that she can be accused of being impartial, because she also sells products, but I think this article is very correct. In the end, everyone decides for themselves what to spend the money on.

For me, many creams leave a greasy film in the eye area and the concealer and foundation are no longer applied properly.
Now I use eye cream from DermaE and I don't have the same problem. In addition, it is moisturizing and visibly reduces wrinkles. I recommend with great confidence
