A month ago we announced the launch on the Romanian market of the Polish brand of professional makeup products - PAESE. The people from BeautyONE were very kind and as always let me choose the products I want to test. I chose some makeups from the Satinette range, one from the MAT range, a Manifesto lipstick (which has a sensational texture), rice powder, Sun of Egypt illuminator and foundation Matte & Cover.
Because Make-up Fest is approaching (click HERE for the seminar program) and BeautyONE will be present there with the PAESE brand (I hope with CHI because my shampoo runs out), I thought I would review this foundation that I have used almost every day in the last month.
About the product
This foundation is intended for combination and oily skin, does not contain oil and benefits from a innovative formula SEBUM CONTROL which recognizes oily and dry areas thus acting only where it is needed restoring balance.
The formula also benefits from a state-of-the-art nylon technology and comes in the form of micro-sponges that help even out the sebum in the hydrolipidic barrier resulting in a matte appearance. These micro-sponges act only on the areas where more sebum is secreted so that there is no risk of dry areas.
It is available in 5 shades.
Active ingredient
Matte & Cover Foundation contains Hyaluronic acid for hydration (retains water in the tissues) and smoothing, Vitamins A and C with anti-aging effect, D-panthenol to soothe skin irritations and those micro-sponges with the role of uniformity of the hydrolipidic barrier.
Texture. Covering. Resistance
Texture Matte & Cover foundation is a liquid, but slightly creamy and moisturizing. It leaves the skin velvety and has a smell quite strong that I couldn't identify, but it reminds me of the cosmetics my mother used when I was a child.
Coverage which it offers is great. Smoothes skin perfectly and covers most imperfections, but does not have as great coverage as Dermablend (review HERE) e.g.
In the chapter resistance it handles exceptionally well because it successfully withstands cleansing without oxidizing or disappearing from certain places. It does not highlight dry areas at all.
In the chapter mattifying it stays and does not stay excellent. I'm not going to lie to you about keeping the sebum under control all day, because it's not. There are days when after two hours the skin shines in the T zone, there are days when the shine appears after five hours. I think the type of skin matters the most. Anyway, the shine problem is old in my skin. But, even with shine, my skin still looks beautiful and that made me continue to use it.

Conclusions and recommendations
I use the shade 201 Warm Beige and it fits me perfectly. Strangely perfect, I might add. I usually make a combination of several shades to find something that suits my skin, but in this case I found the perfect shade.
Although sometimes I find it hard and the shine starts to appear in the T-zone, this is not as annoying as it is with other foundations so I will continue to use it until I fall in love with another product. Right now this is my favorite foundation. It offers a little more coverage than I would need, but it has the advantage of it does not load the skin at all and that's why I choose to wear it.
I recommend it to people who want to even out the skin tone (perfectly hides rosacea and rosacea) and to covers various imperfections.

I have been very curious about Paese products since I read that they will be present at Cosmetics Beauty Hair.
The foundation looks really tempting, especially since I have oily skin and I am in a constant search for a foundation that will keep it matte. However, the price seems high to me, especially if I look at the list of ingredients and see parabens.
Great pity 🙁
Parabens are preservatives, and cosmetics need preservatives regardless of their type. No study has shown the connection of parabens with the appearance of cancer cells if you thought about it when you said that it is a pity that it has parabens. In addition, this product is valid for 24 months from opening. I really don't understand this current against parabens. It seems to me the lack of information!
The carcinogenic potential of parabens has not yet been demonstrated, but they have been found in cancerous tumors and have been shown to be harmful to the body. I prefer to avoid them… at least as much as possible :)
they are impossible to avoid. paraben-free products and would immediately lose their properties. read paula begoun's books.
Me wants it! 😀
It looks great it will be on my shopping list next time!
It's a must, trust me! 😉
I don't know what to think about these parabens anymore… a new study appears every day :))))). I will stick to my idea: at least if I die ,,,,… .to die beautiful (with parabens) .. :)))
Hi, I can tell you that if you go to google.pl and search for a country found for example Long Cover and at 20 zl or 25 zl..this being somewhere 25-30 lei… ..and at emag we also saw 112 lei … .It seems honest to me so I don't know what to call it, a "joke" I could say… ..
The price of the products in America are cheaper than us..but Poland? It is quite close and the transport is cheap…
That's it, I'd rather order there in Poland than here.
They have a company of professional shampoos, treatments, cosmetics for the face, etc. and they are wonderful… and cheap an oil for tips for example 5 lei… ..in our country I think it would cost 15 lei or 5 times as Paese 25 lei…
A beautiful day !
Hi, can you tell me on which site you order in Poland? THX
It looks beautiful on the skin
