I have lived in the Drumul Taberei neighborhood of Bucharest for many years and despite the fact that there is no subway, I really like this area. Today I want to tell you about two beautiful places that only here you can find and that you probably didn't know.
First of all, I want to tell you about the club FitCurves Dr. Taberei (Ghencea Business Center, 43B Ghencea Blvd., 4th floor), the gym I go to. In the period October 2011-February 2012 I went intense, about 3-5 times a week, and then I left it softer, but recently I started to go intense again.
The club's motto is "Fitness for women in just 30 minutes without mirrors, without men and without makeup”And I like that it is a club exclusively for women, where the exercise program lasts only 30 minutes while you do fitness at special equipment where you work only with your body weight, but also aerobics with a trainer that shows you what movements to execute and how to execute them correctly.
The FitCurves exercise program has all the components needed for a complete workout: warm-up and relaxation, aerobics, strength training, stretching and most importantly - a trainer who will give you all the attention you need throughout your workout!
As I said, the Curves program lasts only 30 minutes and involves going through a work cycle with 8 hydraulic machines and 8 aerobics zones. There are no weights to work with and all the equipment is safe and easy to use by any woman, regardless of age.
During the week from 19:30 there are special classes in aerobics, zumba, pilates or afrofitness. I'm crazy about dancing, so I don't miss zumba or afrofitness classes, and the rest of the days I go to normal training.
I really like going to this gym because it is a place where I feel comfortable, where no one judges you and where I have a lot of fun while doing sports + because the monthly subscription is not expensive at all.
The second place I want to tell you about was discovered last month and conquered me on the spot with a warm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It's about the salon Hair Wellness ..and more (17 Sibiu Street) where I did it permanent gene.
In this neighborhood full of salons and salons it is quite difficult to find one that looks good and offers quality services at decent prices. I'm not a fan of fitness salons, although I've stepped on the doorstep of many places like this and without wanting to make a comparison, but I like places that look stylish and work with quality professional products, and work at Hair Wellness with CHI I
In addition to the hairdressing services of Liza Pintileasa, a hairstylist with over 15 years of experience, the salon offers manicure, pedicure, massage, facial and body cosmetic treatments, makeup and cosmetics.
I've written down some prices for you to get an idea:
Manicure - 28 lei
Pedicure - 33 lei (the massage chair is un-born!)
Haircut - 45 lei
Washed - 10 lei (don't forget the CHI!)
Facial treatment - 195-250 lei
Anti-cellulite massage - 65 lei
I want to mention that I was not paid to write this article and that I did it on my own initiative with all my heart 🙂

I've been eyeing Fitcurves for about half a year: D :)) but it's so far from the cornfield I'm in :))
Especially at this time, you really don't shoot at all. But know that the place energizes 🙂
no not the weather is to blame, I just have to change 2 means of transport to get there :(
I also wanted to go to FitCurves, but I didn't have much time to get to the area. Besides Hair Wellness, I actually passed by last week and I remembered your article. I hope to pay him a visit soon.
* I wanted

This article has just arrived! I really didn't know where to go to get my hair done for New Year's Eve. By the way, do you know how much a wash and hairstyle costs?
I'm very happy then 🙂
Unfortunately, I only know how much it costs to wash, if I find out I will update the price list
Just the other day I passed Hair Wellness and I was wondering what it's like inside. thanks for the article! Next time I will enter: p
Maybe we'll meet there! 🙂
Off topic: every time I see pictures from the big cities of the country (Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi) from the '80s every time but every time :-) I am shocked / amazed by how few cars were on the street..am I also caught that period and I know how few cars there were, but I forget every time I see pictures of almost empty streets, I have the feeling that I can breathe :-)
I don't want to be a jerk, but FitCurves seems like a kind of sect… Looking for a gym in the neighborhood, I was here too and I find it extremely expensive for what it offers and extremely strange. You go in a circle and do some exercises to order. Honestly, I don't understand the point.
And for the salon, I'm sorry but it looks more expensive than Abbate.
Alina, you are free to express your opinion. I don't know what you find strange about doing some exercises to order, considering that you need someone to show you what to do and how to do it. Otherwise you would stay home and do it on your own, right? That you only know what to do.
I also went to Abbate because she has a very good manicure girl, but I don't like that she's always on the run there, the appointments are delayed ... it's like I'm not even going to the salon, it's like I'm trying to catch a moving train . Each with his own opinion 🙂
I had only one experience with Liza Pintileasa and Hair Wellness and More because I promised myself that I would never get there again. Because I had read a lot of good things on the internet, I was diligent and made my appointment a month before the day I needed, telling myself that it is impossible not to come out perfectly since so many people praise her. Eh, nothing is impossible. Maybe I have extraordinary pretensions, but it is good for those who want to find out opinions before making a decision to know all the aspects. I will summarize what bothered me and it will be up to you to assess whether this salon suits you or not.
1) PUNCTUALITY, SCHEDULE and ATMOSPHERE: I wanted not to be delayed for a minute so as not to confuse such a sought-after hairdresser, but when I entered the salon at the appointed time, I noticed that the person in front of me could barely sit on the chair. I told myself that there is nothing, all the salons are late. 2 minutes after me, 2 young ladies (Lisa's friends) enter the door. Nothing strange, but… The biggest surprise was when, about 20 minutes after the time I had to be styled, one of these friends is taken over by Liza to be painted. I fell silent again and listened. What the? Ever since I got there, all I've heard have been vulgar and noisy discussions, in a neighborhood tone (and language), about clubs, sex and money.
2) DON'T CARE: 30 minutes late, Liza addresses me for the first time and asks me how I want her hair done. I am a person without much vision in this field, so I told her to style me the way she thinks would fit me, but I would still like my hair to be volume and tight. As a simple idea, I showed her a picture of a hairstyle she made. She didn't say anything and instructed an employee (although I was scheduled at her) to make curls with my plate. After 15 minutes, all curly, I waited some more time for Liza to take me to the make-up, where I would be both made up and styled. I asked her how she would style me and, quite bluntly, she answered me, very inflexible, as I showed her, but adapted. I repeated to her that she could style my hair the way she thinks I would look good, but she kept quiet and caught about 10 hairpins in my hair. After she finished, she simply left without saying a word or asking if I liked it or not. When the person who made me up asked me what colors I like, how I look, how I will be dressed, what I don't like, I realized that Liza was never interested in such an aspect, she didn't care to be creative. as he brags and he doesn't even care if I like a certain style or not.
3) ATTITUDE: After about 20 minutes, I asked the make-up artist to let me look in the mirror. Surprise, I didn't like the way he styled me. I had volume 0% and strands were coming out of my hairstyle, which I hate. After the makeup was ready, I went to Liza and told her I didn't like the way she looked and asked her to do something else for me. Annoyed, she told me that she can't do anything else to me because I don't have enough hair for what I want and she doesn't have time because she has clients. I told her that I didn't want anything specific (apart from the volume and a hair caught in any way possible), which is why I told her (for the 5th time) to style me as she thinks I would look good and I had to give her a solution so that the strands would not come out of my hairstyle. Imagine! Finally, about 3 hours after I got to the hairdresser, she managed to catch my curls differently… better, but don't imagine that I looked great. During the second round of hairdressing, I had to stop it twice because, from a hairstyle that was supposed to be equal on both sides, a hairstyle with a lot of hair on one side and a little on the other had come out. Obviously, I had to remind her that I wanted to have volume and suggest she type me to get it, because she didn't seem to be doing anything about it.
4) PROFESSIONALISM: While standing and waiting, I noticed how Liza is styling: with curls. Each client makes curls with the plate, regardless of any aspect. That's it. I noticed that her hairstyles are not well finished at all and almost all of them come out strands on all sides. Moreover, do not imagine that, if you are not his girlfriend, he will style you patiently. Put together, my hairstyle that was supposed to be occasional (so pretentious as an achievement) lasted 25 minutes… because I styled twice.
5) SCAM: At this salon, the price of a hairstyle is 45 ron. He didn't cut me at all and didn't wash my head at all (I had come ready to wash from home), but how long do you think it took me to get my hair done? 85 ron! That is, he added a fictitious wash and haircut. Nice, isn't it? And yes, she collected the money personally, and when I asked her to do the bill for me, she said she didn't have time to come back another day.
I tried to be short, but the experience did not leave me 🙂 I have only words of praise for the person in makeup because she was actually interested in the person she arranges to leave satisfied. De Liza… seemed totally inflexible, totally disinterested in what the client wants, totally indifferent to new clients (who should want to turn them into loyal clients) and on the side with the "bagging" of friends through face and price swollen… what more can I say? But let's give Caesar what Caesar's: the girl knows how to advertise. The Facebook profile and the site are full of pictures of smiling people (and all curly), and the forums abound with positive reviews. I wonder if I was the only "unhappy" or if there are still negative opinions not expressed / eliminated, etc.
Tip: make friends with her! Thus, you will still have some curls, but more beautiful.
Dear Ada,
I'm sorry to read this, it doesn't look like Liza I know, but it's your experience and thank you for choosing my blog to share. It is your right and that of all my readers to have the freedom to express themselves freely and to benefit from sincere experiences.
Have a nice evening,
John
I recently discovered the Hairwellness salon when I had the impression that I already have to leave Bucharest or even the country to benefit from some services like a book. I overheard two colleagues at work talking fondly about Liza. Of course I looked for reviews on the internet, but as the ads are positive or negative, I am never convinced, I told myself to try on my skin, more precisely on my hair, to understand why those girls were so excited. .
It took me to cross the whole city to get to the salon, but I think it was fully worth the experience. Let me tell you why: I was greeted at the entrance with a coffee, I sat on the couch, I waited for 15-20 minutes. Minutes in which I laughed and socialized with all the girls in the salon. I received positive energy, good thoughts and many smiles. It's time to sit on the chair for Liza to style me. I said to myself, now it's now !!! I have a rather difficult, soft hair that doesn't hold any hairstyle. I had many unpleasant experiences at other salons and I was already on the verge of patience. To my amazement, everything was perfect. I had a vintage look the way I wanted it that lasted until the next morning (consider that the event I attended was my brother's wedding). I highly recommend Hairwellness, it really is an oasis of relaxation and it really offers you a feeling of well-being.
