This year I did not watch the 2013 VMA gala, but I am sure that in the coming months they will repeat it many times, so I have time to recover. But what I watched with interest, as I do every year, are the make-up and outfits that the stars from overseas wear on the red carpet.
I made you one Top 7 favorite looks from VMAs and I also included the outfits because they had no charm separately. Here they are:
7th place - Ciara
I really liked the simple makeup that emphasized the contouring and lighting of the face and the rest went in neutral tones for both lip and eye makeup - perfect synchronization with the dress which is very see-through and sparkling. I like that she took into account every element of her look and tried to keep a balance.
6th place - Ariana Grande
Good thing he got rid of that redhead at Rihanna's (The only girl in the world) for it did not suit him at all, and he is already well past. I like her simple and clean look according to her age. Makeup even if it is very simple beautifies it, so it achieves its purpose 🙂 Btw .. the shoes are breath taking!
5th place - Rita Ora
I don't like to admit it, but this girl is beautiful no matter what she does. The make-up and hairstyle are superb due to their apparent simplicity, which, as in the case of Ciara, balances the final look. The train dress cannot go unnoticed. From her attitude you can see that she felt good and confident and that's all that matters, right?
4th place - Taylor Swift
Another beautiful girl who never messes up. I like the sophisticated look he approached, inspired by the '50s. Blue-eyed blonde + red lipstick and an Oscar dress - she couldn't fail. I like that both makeup (through the touch of color in style grunge), as well as the dress (through the bold neckline) have a modern element, in trends.
3rd place - Crystal Reed
We are already moving on to the looks I simply love! You might know Crystal Reed from the movie Crazy, Stupid, Love where he played Amy. At the VMAs, she stood out by the fact that she didn't stand out at all because she adopted a perfect and very studied look. The Zac Posen dress and the Valentino clutch made an unbeatable chic team, and the make-up made on the principle less is more he did nothing but criticize them. Doesn't it just look ... perfect?
2nd place - Holland Roden
Set colleague with Crystal on the show Teen Wolf, Holland wore a very interesting dress by Naeem Khan. And she went for a sophisticated look inspired by the glamor of the '50s where she was accentuated on her lips. I really like the harmony between the hair color and the shade of the outfit.
1st place - Lady Gaga
Don't expect that. Me neither. Lady Gaga was a surprise appearance. At least I was very pleasantly surprised when he chose an extremely simple, very bright make-up. The emphasis was on correction, and the only stain on the outfit's color was the lips. I think LG was the only one that took into account the trends this fall and went on a look flawless as we saw in the Prada or Balmain presentations. The dress is a creation of Prabal Gurung.
I think I like it because this time she wanted to be beautiful, not just stand out.
What is your favorite?

I don't like Ciara's dress at all. But the makeup is beautiful 🙂
Yes, I'm not crazy about it either, but I really liked the makeup
The 2nd place seems great to me, the pants for comfort and the fact that the rest look like a princess… .a perfect combination from my point of view… I want too 😀
Yeah, isn't it a great outfit? 😀
I liked Ciara and Taylor Swift's look the most, not the dresses but they looked very good, especially Taylor Swift 🙂 and I really liked Ariana Grande's dress
I didn't really like Ciara's dress either, but in the hair & make-up chapters she looked gorgeous!
And I was amazed by Lady Gaga, she is simply beautiful! Giving up the nose ring was even better, but the rest is perfect.
That's right, but it's Lady Gaga, she couldn't be perfect, could she? :))))
